Ugandan government has officially stopped requiring Pentecostal churches that primarily engage in spiritual activities to register


The Ugandan government has officially stopped requiring Pentecostal churches primarily focused on spiritual activities to register under the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) Act, according to news reports. This directive, issued by the Attorney General, follows a meeting with religious leaders and a subsequent briefing to President Museveni. The government will provide further guidance on the registration of these churches, but for now, they are exempt from the NGO registration proces
