Pastor Adeboye anoints Patience Rwabwogo, bestows staff and ring in historic consecration as Uganda's first woman bishop.

In a historic ceremony on August 23, 2026, Pastor Patience Kokundenka Museveni Rwabwogo was consecrated as an Episcopal Bishop, becoming the first known daughter of a Ugandan President to hold the office. Bishop Patience represents a new chapter of faith, humility, and service for the nation.

President Yoweri Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni welcomed Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, at State House Entebbe ahead of the historic consecration of their daughter, Pastor Patience Rwabwogo, as an Episcopal Bishop.

With just days to go, Covenant Nations Church is set for a historic moment as Senior Pastor Patience Rwabwogo is consecrated into the Episcopal Office of Bishop. Presided over by Bishop Dr. LaDonna Osborn, the ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 23, at Covenant Hill Maya.
